How We Handle Your Information

This Privacy Policy explains what information SYNPROLABS LLC ("SynproLabs") collects when you use synprolabs.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website, your customer account, and our email and SMS programs, and it forms part of our Terms & Conditions. By using the site you agree to this policy.

Information We Collect

When you create an account or place an order we collect the details you provide: your name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping addresses, and order history. Because this is a research-use-only store, we also record the attestations you make at registration and checkout, including that you are 21 or older and a qualified researcher. If you opt in to email or SMS updates, we keep a record of that consent. If you contact support, we keep the correspondence.

Your account password is stored as a salted hash. We cannot read it, and we will never ask you for it by email or text.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. Your card details are transmitted to the processor to complete the transaction; full card numbers are not stored on our servers.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • process, fulfill, and ship your orders, and send order confirmations and status updates;
  • maintain your account, including member pricing and your order history;
  • respond to your questions and support requests;
  • verify eligibility and keep records required for a research-use-only store;
  • send marketing email or SMS if you opted in; and
  • understand how the site is used so we can improve it.

Email & SMS Communications

Marketing email and SMS are opt-in only, and consent is not a condition of purchase. Messages are sent through our email and SMS service providers, which process your contact details on our behalf. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to cancel SMS at any time, reply HELP for help, or use the unsubscribe link in any email. Transactional messages, such as order confirmations, are sent regardless of marketing preferences because they are part of fulfilling your order.

Cookies & Analytics

The site uses cookies to keep you signed in, keep items in your cart, remember your age confirmation, and remember preferences such as a dismissed notice. We also use Google Analytics to understand site usage in aggregate, such as which pages are visited and how visitors move through the site. Data Retention

We keep account and order records while your account is active and as long as we need them for business, legal, tax, or compliance reasons, including the purchase attestations that document research-use-only sales. If you ask us to delete your account, we remove the personal information we are not required to keep.

Your Rights & Choices

You can view and update your details at any time in My Account. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in any email, by replying STOP to any SMS, or by contacting us. You can also ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under state privacy law; we honor valid requests regardless of state. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Age Requirement

This site sells research chemicals and is for qualified researchers aged 21 or older. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date, and material changes may also be announced by email.
